Lake Saimaa and forests are in the picture. Middle of the lake a boat is going under the bridge.

The Council of the Baltic Sea States – an intergovernmental political forum for regional cooperation – will organise a live Baltic Sea Youth Camp before the 13th Annual Forum of the EUSBSR in Lappeenranta, Finland. We are now inviting participants to the camp.

For the first time, the Baltic Sea Youth Camp was organised in 2019 to increase the involvement of young people in Baltic Sea Region politics. Ever since it developed youth input to the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.

This year, we will have 5 days with interesting workshops and a lot of activities related to the EUSBSR, the Baltic Sea Region and how to implement youth’s ideas to improve regional cooperation.

The camp is aimed at young people – 18 to 29 years old – interested in creating an impact within the Baltic Sea Region, where they can network with peers and experience Finnish nature like ever before.

So, if the definition above feels attracting, we are cordially inviting you to join us on August 15-19 2022, at the island of Asinsaari just outside the city of Lappeenranta in Finland.
